Catholic Education Foundation scholarship recipient Vicki Simms was recently featured by Topeka news station WIBW for her creative passion for giving back.
Each summer, Vicki, a senior at Hayden Catholic High School, devotes her time and talents to creating beautiful artwork on classroom doors and hallway bulletin boards at her former elementary school, Holy Family Catholic School.
Vicki hopes her art will inspire younger students and credits her success and commitment to service to her Catholic education and the CEF scholarships that made it possible for her attend Holy Family and Hayden.

"When our students see a high school student who has been a graduate of Holy Family, do exactly what we're talking about and live that lifestyle of faith and service - it warms our hearts," says Travis Lamb, Holy Family principal. "You can imagine how proud we are of her."
