The Catholic Education Foundation is proud to award this year’s Antoinette D. Berkel Memorial Scholarship to seven students attending Wyandotte County Catholic schools.
The recipients of the Antoinette D. Berkel Memorial Scholarship for the 2022-23 school year are:
- Adán Lopez, Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School
- Gennesis Espinoza, Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School
- Juan Chavez, Our Lady of Unity Catholic School
- Roberto Sustaita, Resurrection Catholic School at the Cathedral
- Christopher Estrada, Resurrection Catholic School at the Cathedral
- Juliana Par, St. Patrick Catholic School
- Alexandria Mendez, St. Patrick Catholic School
Established at CEF in 2006, the Antoinette D. Berkel Memorial Scholarships benefit students in Wyandotte County Catholic schools who are heading into their 8th grade year. Students are nominated by their school principals based on how they exemplify a caring heart and a dedication to community service.
