More families are choosing Catholic schools

Posted on March 11, 2022 in Impact of Donors, News

Catholic schools are seeing growth in enrollment as more families recognize the advantages of small communities, uplifting support and rigorous education enhanced by a faith-based environment.

CEF supports more than half of the Catholic schools in our Archdiocese with scholarships to provide tuition assistance for students.  Families that seek a truly supportive environment for their students -- where children are taught to love and serve their neighbor, in addition to meeting rigorous academic standards -- will like what they see when they visit and explore our schools.

CEF Scholarships Offer Life-Changing Benefits

A CEF scholarship can make Catholic education possible for your child, opening the door to excellent, in-person learning in a supportive environment. Students are seeing life-changing outcomes:

  • CEF scholarship recipients achieve a 100% graduation rate, compared to 69% of their peers in other schools.*
  • A child who is black or Latino is 42% more likely to graduate from high school if he or she attends Catholic school.**
  • Nearly 97% of CEF graduates go on to college or career training, compared with 45% of their peers in other schools.

Catholic schools in the Archdiocese are enrolling now for the 2022-23 school year. All offer financial aid solutions and most offer tuition-assistance or tax credit scholarships from Catholic Education Foundation. Contact the school of your choice to inquire about scholarships and financial assistance.
