Ways to Give

Rewrite the future for students most in need.

Thank you for preparing the way for students most in need to receive a Catholic education. Your generosity gives our communities' most vulnerable students the opportunity to learn and develop a relationship with Christ. What a gift!

Catholic Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 charity, and donations qualify as tax-deductible. Our tax ID is 74-2852449.

You can be assured that CEF is a good steward of the generous contributions of our donors. Our independently audited financial statements consistently show that out of every dollar raised, 86% goes directly toward providing scholarships to students in need at our Catholic schools.

Families need our help now more more than ever

Today, more and more families are concerned about the values their children are learning in public schools. This economy is taking a toll on low-income families throughout northeast Kansas. Your support helps put Catholic education within reach for at-risk students.

Kansas City, KS 66109

Donate Online
Setup one-time or recurring (monthly, quarterly, annually) gifts to CEF using our secure online donation form.

Gifts of Stocks or Bonds
Donate appreciated stock or bonds instead of cash. This gift allows you to avoid paying the capital gains tax on any increase in the value of the stock. Please contact Kristin Castle at kcastle@archkck.org for the proper account information to facilitate a stock transfer.

Distributions from Your Donor Advised Fund
Designate gifts from your Donor Advised Fund to the Catholic Education Foundation. Contact your fund administrator for additional details. Please contact Kristin Castle at kcastle@archkck.org for additional assistance.

Gifts from an IRA
If you are 72 or older, a donation made directly from your IRA can help you save valuable income tax dollars. Qualified charitable contributions (QCD) of up to $100,000 ($200,000 for married couples) must be made by December 31 each year in order to exclude that amount from taxable income. Please contact Kristin Castle at kcastle@archkck.org to request a sample letter for your fund administrator and to ensure we acknowledge you properly.

Gifts of Real Estate
Gifts of real property - real estate, land, vehicles, etc. - can help support the Catholic Education Foundation's mission for years to come. Please contact Kristin Castle at kcastle@archkck.org to discuss the possibility of donating real estate to CEF.

Planned Giving
Consider including the Catholic Education Foundation in your estate plans. You will become part of an amazing group of individuals who are dedicated to providing Catholic education for students in need. Planned gift commitments of all sizes are recognized through the CEF Seton Society. Informing us of your estate plans not only supports CEF's future work, but also serves as an inspiration to others and encourages their generosity. We encourage you to contact your estate planning attorney or advisor for further assistance.

Matching Gifts from Employers
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs to match charitable contributions and volunteer hours made by their employees. Gifts from employees’ spouses and retirees may also qualify for a match. Search our matching database to see if your employer will double or triple the impact of your gift.

Gifts in Memory or for Special Occasions
Celebrate someone special or commemorate a significant occasion — a birth or a birthday, a wedding or a graduation — with a gift to the Catholic Education Foundation. We will send a card acknowledging that you have made a contribution in their honor or tribute.

For more information about ways to donate, please contact Kristin Castle, Development Director, at kcastle@archkck.org.
