The Gift of Hope

Hope.

This season of Advent brings us the gift of hope.

Hope that the celebration of the birth of Christ will bring new birth within our own faith journey.

Hope in ourselves to be the best disciples of Christ that we can be.

Hope in the new beginnings that the gift of reconciliation brings, repairing our broken relationship with Jesus and others.

Hope in the knowledge that birth of Christ leads to the promises of Easter.

The Catholic Education Foundation brings the gift of hope to so many children. We became involved with CEF just a few years ago and have witnessed that our small deeds can make a huge difference with so many children. It is such an overwhelming feeling to know that with our simple donation we can make such a huge impact on not only the children but their entire families and communities. To know with a simple act of generosity we can bring Hope to these children who will now be able to learn about and celebrate the birth of Christ through their Catholic education, to receive the gift of reconciliation and to share the good news of Christ with those around them.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.  Isaiah 40:31

Let us give this Hope to the children, help them soar like eagles and to not grow weary but gain strength through their education in Christ.

Education is a beautiful gift; a Catholic education is a gift of Hope.
