Guardian Angel Fund Assists Family After Car Accident Leaves Dad Unable to Work

Posted on November 15, 2016 in Guardian Angel Fund

A family of 7 struggled to pay tuition for their 2 children in a CEF school after the father was injured in a car accident, leaving him unable to work and with large medical expenses. Their income from the mother's retail job is not enough to cover living expenses and the medical bills.

As the principal explained in her application for this family, "The students have worked hard to be successful at our school and they benefit from our structured environment and high expectations. The mother is always willing to help at parish events. She advised that she is losing sleep because of this situation and finally came to me for consultation."

Thanks to CEF’s Guardian Angel Fund, which provides emergency scholarship assistance for families facing an unexpected financial crisis, bothchildren were able to remain in their CEF school. Guardian Angel scholarship funding comes from CEF Futures events. For more information on joining the CEF Futures, contact us.
