This year the Catholic Education Foundation Futures (CEF Futures) is once again hosting an after-party immediately following Gaudeamus, CEF’s annual gala event, on Saturday October 29th, 2016 at the Overland Park Convention Center.

The CEF Futures is a group of young professionals (ages 21 to 40) committed to promoting the mission of CEF – and having a lot of fun along the way!

The Futures mission is to ensure that all children attending a Catholic Education Foundation school have the scholarship support they need to stay in school even when their families face unexpected financial difficulties.

The after-party is open to everyone attending Gaudeamus and is included in the Gaudeamus ticket price.

Attendees will descend into a cozy lower-level lounge as they leave the main event and enter the after-party. Live music will fill the lounge, with snacks and drinks available throughout the evening.

If that’s not enough to convince you, after-party attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about the Futures group and network with other young professionals who are passionate about supporting Catholic education and helping kids in need.

After hearing about the CEF Futures group, I knew I wanted to get involved with an organization that gives children the opportunity to attend Catholic schools. From my experience attending Catholic schools, it not only gives children a solid, faith-based education, but most importantly gives them the daily opportunity to grow in their relationship with God.

As a young professional, I believe it is important for young men and women to get involved in giving back to organizations that are important to them.

I am excited to be a part of such a great organization and cannot wait to see what the Futures will accomplish in years to come.

We cannot wait to meet you and tell you more about the Futures mission at the Gaudeamus after-party. See you there!
