"Right Now, Our School is a Safe Haven"

Posted on November 15, 2016 in Guardian Angel Fund

A family of 3 recently joined a parish with a CEF school. The mother enrolled in RCIA and joined the Church, and the daughter received sacraments she previously missed. The daughter had some health concerns, resulting in large medical bills that they were unable to afford. The father has been out of work for six months, leaving the family with income only from the mother's housekeeping job. Their home is in foreclosure.

The CEF principal said, "We are glad that they have joined our school and parish. They have spoken highly about how much their value the school and the Catholic education their daughter is receiving. Right now our school is a safe haven for her and has allowed her some freedom from her current family situation." A Guardian Angel scholarship, combined with a tuition payment from the family, allowed the daughter to remain in her school.

Guardian Angel scholarship funding comes from CEF Futures events. For more information on joining the CEF Futures, contact us.
