Guardian Angel Fund Allows 3 Siblings to Stay in School After Parents Lose Work

Posted on August 23, 2019 in Guardian Angel Fund

Scholarship support from the Guardian Angel Fund recently allowed three students to remain at their CEF-supported school after their mother lost her job, and their father had to reduce his work hours due to a newly-diagnosed medical condition. "The kids are great students and contribute to our school," wrote their principal in the scholarship allocation. "(Mom) is a very active parent at our school. She is always ready to volunteer her time and talents."

The Guardian Angel scholarship allowed the students to remain in their school while their parents search for new work opportunities. Funding for Guardian Angel scholarships comes from CEF Futures' events. The Futures are a group of young professionals committed to the mission of the Catholic Education Foundation.
